10:10 is a global climate change campaigns group based in London.
10:10 wanted a space that exemplified the low carbon theme of their campaign, while simultaneously creating a reputation and buzz about their workplace.
TILT led the 10:10 team through a co-design and co-make journey, creating a transformative space with the capacity to fulfill multiple functions, involving the team in all aspects of the process. Working with Interface, TILT resisted a typical office floor, instead using donated ‘end of line' colour tiles and then organising the team to create a pattern in a co-make workshop.
The 10:10 team's desire to connect and keep themselves informed of each other's activity led to the creation the Blackboard Wall, giving everyone full visibility to stats, information and progress on the campaign. All the furniture TILT made was adaptable and designed to encourage team collaboration.
Upstairs, the office space was designed to be transformed easily between states of 'work' and 'social', with the office tables and legs mountable on the wall, creating an open space for seminars or parties.
By trusting the inherent creativity of the team and the emergent design, 10:10 co-created an amazing workspace for themselves.
