Aldeburgh Music is one of the world's most renowned performance centres for music and the arts.
As part of a major renovation and expansion in 2009, TILT designed the new workspace for the organisations's creative staff. TILT's interventions played off the bare wood and walls, with colour and reflective structures.
TILT responded to the various needs of the different teams to cluster and disperse depending on projects and resources, while being sympathetic to the organisation's desire to maintain an overall cohesion. An open plan, modular, and non-hierarchical solution was developed, creating extensive flexibility and adaption. Desks can be reconfigured with minimal effort along a grid system within the space.
