Hub Milan is Italy's first incubator and ‘connect space' for social entrepreneurs. It is part of the global network of Hub spaces.
Working with their team and community of social innovators, TILT led a co-design and make process to transform an existing building into a thriving enabling space. By involving users in the design, along with the necessary positioning, flow and functions of the space, TILT were able to create a adaptable, multi-functioning and flexible space.
Reclaimed materials were sourced locally and a team of creative craftsman worked with the community in making all the furniture and architectural interventions in the Hub.
Materials—
Cardboard, reclaimed white pine, pallets and office furniture, found and sourced chairs, plants, reclaimed windows and glass, waterbourne paints and varnishes, fixings.
